Food photography to make you hungry

Although most of my work mean taking pictures of people some my first professional photography involved product work.

Food is one of the trickiest ‘products’ to take, as there are various challenges, but it;s satisfying when you created a genuinely mouthwatering image. I tend to favour using natural window light and sometimes reflectors for food photography, which I feel gives a natural, organic look.

Bath’s Private Vintage Club

Last night saw me shoot the show at Bath’s Private Vintage club, which showcases elgant vintage fashions and luxury lingerie from two of Bath’s best boutiques. There was even a touch of burlesque from Gemma Sheree, producer of the city’s sellout Coco Boudoir shows.

The exclusive event that was launched last year (see previous blog) by Bath-based Scarlet Vintage and Hannah Dulcie. Hair styling for the show is provided by Artizan hair.

Guests to the show, this time held at the cavernous and secluded Opa Bar enjoyed champagne and canapes, experiencing a lovingly-selected assortment from the boutiques.
