Private Vintage Club was an event put together by Bath lingerie boutique Hannah Dulcie and purveyors of quality retro couture, Scarlet Vintage. Audiences were treated to champers and canapés served up by Buttlers.
The event took place at Bath’s compact, virtually hidden Opium Bar, with deliciously opulent and quirky decor providing the perfect setting. Before the show proper began, I was able to do a mini shoot with one of ShootDHS Models’ more recent recruits, Raphaella, creating a ‘mini studio’ with my Canon flash bounced into a small folding umbrella.
Fabulous models were supplied by local agency ShootDHS, with ringmaster Dave Hill-Souch making sure the runway shows went off without a hitch, while extravagant hair styling was provided by Bath’s Artizan salon. Dave’s stable of talent includes Geisha Go Disco, who runs Bath’s popular Coco Boudoir Burlesque shows, and she served up a few burlesque moves to whoops and applause.

Coco Boudoir producer, burlesque superstar and Shoot DHS model Geisha Go Disco brought a little cabaret to the proceedings, mush to the audience's delight.
The Opium Bar provided the perfect surrounding for an intimate fashion event. This model reminds me of the girl in Czech New Wave classic Valerie and Her week of Wonders.
